How the corporation is structured

What the company does

Trinaius Venture Capital is the financing arm of the Trinaius group. It acts as general partner to a family of funds; limited partners are institutions, family offices and sovereign funds. Its purpose is to move capital to the group's operating businesses and to the joint ventures those businesses form with Indigenous communities, on terms that are the same each time rather than negotiated afresh on every project.

It was incorporated under the Canada Business Corporations Act on 2026-09-01. Its share structure separates voting control from economic return, which is what allows capital to be raised without the group losing the ability to hold its own principles in place.

A guardianship council sits alongside the corporation with environmental, ethical, cultural and Indigenous oversight, and with authority in due diligence. That council is not an advisory board appointed by the people it reviews. What it can compel, and by what instrument, is being settled now, and this site will say so when it is settled rather than before.
